Coaches building a strategic plan for travel, facilities, staffing, and program growth

The Financial Coach for Coaches

Build the Money Behind Your Coaching Mission

Opportunity Pathway Partners helps coaches, teams, and athletic programs create the financial stability to travel, recruit, hire support staff, purchase equipment, fund opportunities, and build long-term security.

Too many coaches pay for tournaments, recruiting trips, equipment, assistants, trainers, speakers, camps, and team experiences from personal income or household savings. We help build a better system.

Built by a coach with 30 years of experience across multiple sports, coaching men and women from youth through college.

Your financial starting point

Every Winning Plan Starts With an Honest Financial Snapshot

Your first step is to register and complete the initial financial review. This gives us a clear picture of where you stand and which pathways may help you or your program move forward.

You do not need perfect credit, large savings, or an established business to begin. We start with where you are.

Your mission deserves a support plan

Stop Using Day-Job Money to Finance Your Passion

Accessing money is only one part of the plan. We also help coaches identify ways for the opportunity, equipment, vehicle, facility, trip, camp, or program to support its own cost.

The goal is not to create another debt payment that falls on your household. The goal is to build a plan showing how the obligation can be supported without continuously taking money from your primary paycheck.

We do not just help you access money. We help you build the system that supports the obligation.

Before we match the funding

Start With a Current Credit Report

A current credit report gives you and our team a clearer starting point for reviewing likely funding options, rates, terms, and amounts. If you already have a current complete copy, you do not need to purchase another one.

Need a report? SmartCredit's current partner offer is a $1.00 seven-day trial, then $24.99 per month unless canceled.

SmartCredit is a third-party service. This is a tracked partner link, and Opportunity Pathway Partners may receive compensation. Review SmartCredit's enrollment, renewal, and cancellation terms before joining.

Turn coaching activity into an asset

Stop Treating Coaching Income Like Side Money

Many coaches already operate like business owners. They run camps, clinics, lessons, training programs, events, teams, travel programs, and consulting services—but the activity may not be structured to protect the coach, reduce unnecessary expenses, establish business credit, finance equipment, or build long-term value.

The purpose of the entity is not to create paperwork. It is to turn coaching activity into a financial asset.

Plan before the emergency

Fund the Season Before the Season Starts

Most athletic programs begin fundraising after money has already become a problem. We help coaches and organizations identify the full annual need, build a fundraising calendar, create sponsorship opportunities, and develop repeatable revenue before the next emergency.

Dave previously worked with Fundraising University and brings that experience together with 30 years of coaching, financial coaching, lending, business development, and program strategy.

Personal financial stability

The Program Needs a Financial Plan. So Does the Coach.

A coach should not spend decades helping athletes prepare for the future while remaining financially unprepared personally.

Coach because you love it—not because your finances leave you no choice.

The Financial Coach for Coaches

About Dave Ivery

Built by a Coach Who Understands the Cost of Coaching

Dave Ivery spent 30 years coaching multiple sports, working with male and female athletes from youth programs through the college level.

He understands that building a successful program requires more than knowledge of the game. Coaches must find ways to afford travel, recruiting, equipment, facilities, assistants, trainers, speakers, camps, and opportunities that may not fit inside the available budget.

Dave also worked with Fundraising University and later expanded his expertise into financial coaching, funding, credit restoration, business development, cash-flow strategy, real estate, and retirement planning.

Today, he serves as the Financial Coach for Coaches—helping coaches and athletic programs build the money behind their mission while helping coaches create the personal financial stability to keep doing what they love.

Before you begin

A Clear Starting Point

Registration creates the initial snapshot we need to understand the coach, the program, and the most practical next step.

Why does everyone start with registration?

Registration gives us the initial financial snapshot needed to understand your current position, immediate goal, and practical next step. It is a financial starting point—not a promise of funding or a guaranteed result.

Do I need perfect credit or an established business?

No. You do not need perfect credit, large savings, or an established business to begin. We start with where you are, identify obstacles, and determine what may need to change before a future goal becomes realistic.

Is Opportunity Pathway Partners a bank or direct lender?

No. Opportunity Pathway Partners is not a bank or direct lender. We provide financial coaching and may connect clients with participating providers, professionals, and third-party resources. Our network includes direct access to over 4,000 lenders, but access does not guarantee approval.

What happens after I get started?

Your secure funding profile helps us understand your goals and identify the most relevant potential pathways. Approval, amounts, rates, terms, and timing remain subject to each provider's review.
